MEC integrates motor control and automation with your Building Automation System (BAS) or Building Management System (BMS) from the scope stage, coordinating with the BMS contractor where required.

Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)

VSD programming left to the mechanical contractor or commissioning tech is a common source of commissioning delays. MEC programs, and commissions VSDs as part of the project scope, including setting parameters and protection settings.

When the same team handles all three, fault finding after handover stays manageable. At handover, MEC provides control schematics, logic descriptions, VSD parameter records, and O&M notes for the installed system.
